The Materials Clerk is the primary person responsible for ensuring transactions are completed in the ERP system in a timely and proactive manner.
This position communicates with plant supervision, inventory, and purchasing to ensure raw materials are properly allocated, captured and transactions completed, prior to the next step in production.
Must have experience with an ERP system.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Ensure all documents are correctly distributed to and from the production floor.
Ensure correct materials are being provided to the work centers.
Ensure all material is being correctly allocated to each work center.
Maintain raw material visibility with plant supervision, purchasing, and management.
Coordinate transactions within the ERP, ensuring all raw material is properly allocated and consumed to the correct work center.
Perform spot checks at each work center to verify document and material accuracy.
Actively communicate with each work center and material handlers to improve material planning and increase efficiency.
Resolve BOM errors and by communicating with inventory and engineering teams.
Review and maintain all applicable documents and records related to the lamination department.
All other duties, as required.
